A "cross-ride" is a "crosswalk" for cyclists to ride on next to the crosswalk for pedestrians and indicated by paint and signs.
One wrinkle is that it is illegal to ride in "crosswalks" - so this would avoid that problem.
3 are proposed at that dog's breakfast of an intersection of Portage, Wellington, and the Ottawa River Parkway.
